Kimberlin Brown’s work is lavish in its attention to natural objects. Her sea anemone rings and pendants – featuring pearls and small gems set in gold or sterling silver – seem to have arrived from a kingdom under the sea. She is a trained sculptor with a dual degree from Art Institute of Chicago and The Maryland Art Institute. She has studied ancient Italian Etruscan art and modern Italian metalsmithing and has studiedwith famed silversmith George Jensen’s studio. Her work is in the permanent collection at The Museum of Art & Design in NYC.
